IBAAS 2026 ESG Awards

Celebrating sustainable excellence in the global aluminium industry. Honoring organizations driving environmental, social, and governance leadership.

Background & Purpose

Driving Sustainable Excellence in Aluminium

The Aluminium sector is gaining increasing attention from Automakers, Construction, EVs, and other applications thanks to unique properties of this metal—such as light weight and infinite recyclability—making it the ‘material of the future’.

Industry players throughout the aluminium value chain—from Bauxite mining, Alumina refinery, Smelter, Cast house, to downstream material conversion, end-of-life collection, and recycling—are addressing global challenges including circular economy, decarbonization, and ESG practices.

To recognize the efforts and best practices of the global Aluminium Industry in supporting Sustainable Development Goals, IBAAS along with its knowledge partner CETIZION Verifica have instituted these prestigious awards.
